History of Pioneer Ridge B&B Inn and the surrounding area.

“Amazing!!!! Must stay bnb for Palmer/Wasilla”

Beautiful location! The beds and rooms were comfortable and cozy like a cottage. The kitchen in the lobby type area is open all the time with a Keurig coffee maker with lots of options. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit and a nice area to dine in. Host was very nice and easy to work with. Bathroom in the fisher room wow amazing and so well done...STAY HERE IF YOU COME TO THE VALLEY! I've lived here for two years and in the middle of transitioning to another state this was by far the nicest place I've seen since being here!

“Simply Awesome!”

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming property! The "home" is an exquisitely converted dairy barn, with individually themed rooms focusing on the area's history and a long hallway filled with old photographs illustrating it. Art and artifacts add to the unique ambiance. Although situated in an urban area, the setting is very rural, on a ridge overlooking the valley and three mountain ranges, including most notably the beautiful snowy peaks of the Chugash. An observatory gives the visitor an incredible 360 degree view! On each of our visits, we found the hosts to be among those special people who know how to make strangers feel completely at home. Not only do they prepare and serve a delicious breakfast, there is an amazing variety of complimentary snacks, fruits, and beverages available 24 hours a day, so welcome to a traveler. An activity room includes games and a pool table, and, in a separate alcove, a sauna. We were a party of four adults and two teenagers, and all of us left wishing we could stay longer or return again in the future!

We invite you to surround yourself with adventure, Alaskan flavor and the most majestic views in Alaska. We enjoy a 360 degree view of the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain ranges. With 20 hours of daylight in the summer, there is plenty of time to sit back, breathe deep, and be absolutely amazed by the views.      Welcome to Pioneer Ridge!
